First move to trade "green" electricity

The first company to market electricity generated solely from renewable sources has been granted a second-tier supply licence by electricity regulator Offer. Other firms are exploring similar moves once the market is fully liberalised in 1998 - as well as the possibility that a "green pool" could provide continuing support for renewable schemes outside the non-fossil fuel obligation (NFFO).
