Companies move to phase out fish oil from food products

A campaign by Greenpeace to stop the use of fish oil from industrial fishing fleets in the North Sea has persuaded some of the UK's major food companies to phase out the product within a year. But many fish oil users are likely to continue using supplies from other regions - and demand for fishmeal, also produced from industrial fishing, is likely to keep the catch at a high level.
