Survey shows severe damage to lakes
A study funded by the National Rivers Authority (NRA) has concluded that 23% of British lakes are severely affected by eutrophication and 17% are highly acidified.1 The findings further undermine the Government's view that eutrophication is limited to a few waters in Britain.
