Northern Ireland's first drinking water quality report

The Department of the Environment for Northern Ireland (DoENI) has produced its first report on drinking water quality, revealing a level of legal compliance below that in England and Wales but higher than in Scotland.1 Significant improvements are needed to reduce high levels of disinfection by-products and improve compliance for a wide range of aesthetic parameters.
