Housing estates a key to recycling targets
People living in flats on housing estates are just as keen to recycle domestic waste as those living in street housing, according to a report by the charity Waste Watch.1 The finding is disputed by some recycling officers, but urban local authorities will need to make recycling banks more accessible for estate residents if they are to meet Government recycling targets.
