Energy conservation rises up parliamentary agenda
One of three Bills on energy efficiency introduced in the current parliamentary session reached the statute book on 18 July. The Energy Conservation Act 1996 provides for local authorities to include homes in multiple occupation in their plans for improving the energy efficiency of homes which are required by legislation passed in 1995.1
