EC studies on voluntary agreements, life-cycle analysis

Signs that the European Commission's Industry Directorate (DGIII) wants to push voluntary environmental agreements with industry have emerged from an invitation to tender for a study of such agreements at national level within the EC. DGIII is also inviting tenders for a separate study to examine how life-cycle analysis techniques could influence corporate environmental policies and product strategies.1
