Electronic waste group fails to agree on targets, funding
An EC priority waste stream group has failed to agree how responsibilities for recovering end-of-life electrical and electronic (EEE) waste should be allocated. It was also unable to reach a consensus on whether legislation or voluntary measures are needed to harmonise the differing approaches to EEE waste recovery which are taking shape among Member States, or on numerical targets.
