Severn Trent convicted over misdescribed waste load

Severn Trent Water has been convicted of two waste offences after more than 20 drums of waste from one of its sewage works were delivered illegally to a Shropshire landfill. The incident was caused by the firm's failure to instruct employees in the implications of the "duty of care".
