Second record fine for construction firm

Italian-owned construction company Castelli Girola has been fined £15,000 after polluting a river with drainage water containing high levels of suspended solids. The fine was the largest yet imposed for a water pollution offence in Scotland - breaking an earlier record established by the same company earlier this year.
