Civil claims mount up after second leak at Monsanto site
Several hundred residents of the north Wales town of Cefn Mawr may sue Monsanto subsidiary Flexsys following a leak of hydrogen sulphide from its rubber chemicals works in Ruabon. The incident occurred only weeks after Monsanto paid undisclosed damages to 115 people for an earlier leak - and may lead to a prosecution by HM Inspectorate of Pollution (HMIP).
