UK's homegrown ozone problem
Ozone pollution episodes in the UK can be caused entirely by pollution sources in this country, according to a new study. Its conclusion calls into question the Government's refusal to adopt an air quality standard (AQS) for ozone and its attempts to pin the blame for pollution episodes on emissions elsewhere in Europe.
