Revamp proposed for OECD chemical risks programme
OECD experts have concluded that its pilot risk reduction programme for chemicals should not be abandoned despite their third successive failure to agree substantive international action on a chemical - this time cadmium. Proposals emerged in November to revive the programme with a clearer set of guidelines to decide when concerted action is likely to be desirable and feasible.
