Ministers set out guidelines for EC environment programme

The EC's fifth Environment Action Programme, which will guide the Community's environmental policy to the end of the century, has finally been published. A key point in an accompanying Resolution agreed by Environment Ministers is that the European Commission should develop improved mechanisms to ensure that environmental considerations are integrated into other EC policies.¹
