  • Under the European Commission's Joule II programme Cambridge Econometrics has won a major contract to develop a forecasting model that links energy, environment and economic policies in the member states. The Energy-Environment-Economy Model for Europe (E3ME) will first be applied in the evaluation of policies to reduce anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions by 60% over the next 50 years.
