The potential ramifications of Brexit for environmental professionals are far-reaching, with a hefty body of new legislation and regulation being worked up to implement the decision to leave the EU. The government’s efforts to develop a new body of environmental law for after EU exit day will continue to be the subject of intense scrutiny and debate as 2019 gets under way.
