What the Resources and Waste Strategy tells us about the government’s plans for chemicals and product regulation

DEFRA’s plan for better waste and resource management dropped several hints about the post-Brexit regulation of chemicals and manufactured products. Gareth Simkins looks into its implications

“There are significant opportunities for resource efficiency savings in the chemicals sector, and we want to put in place the framework for them to be realised,” according to  the government’s Resources and Waste Strategy (RWS).
