DEFRA is pouring resources into its no-deal Brexit contingency plans as part of its preparations for all Brexit scenarios, ministers told the House of Commons this morning.

Standing in for environment secretary Michael Gove, parliamentary under secretary of state David Rutley told MPs: “The department is working flat out to prepare for no deal.”
