New waste fine - total payout £1.3m

Terence Dugbo, already in jail on charges of conspiracy to defraud the system that rewards recyclers of waste electrical and electronic equipment, has been ordered to pay £1.3m back from the estimated £2.2m he made from his criminal enterprise. Failure to pay within three months will add eight years to his sentence of seven and a half years, a record for environmental crime.
