The leader of the opposition, Jeremy Corbyn, set out his plans for “green jobs revolution” at a manufacturers’ trade association conference yesterday.

Speaking at the event organised by EEF, the manufacturers organisation - now rebranded as Make UK - Corbyn called for a general election and said that under Labour “manufacturing [would] be the engine of innovation in the green economy of the future”.
