VW and Nissan castigated over car CO<SUB>2</SUB> emissions

Volkswagen, Europe’s biggest selling carmaker, has reduced CO2 emissions from new models by less than half that needed under a voluntary EU agreement, says campaign group Transport and Environment. Nissan was the worst performing manufacturer.
