HPA resolute in opposing soil guideline plans
The Health Protection Agency has not changed its mind on government proposals on contaminated land, it has told ENDS, despite the perceptions of many practitioners. The agency maintains it has always opposed changes to the calculation of soil guideline values which would raise health risk thresholds for certain carcinogens.
