Statutory code to tackle Scottish sewage odours

The Scottish Executive has published a draft statutory code of practice on sewerage nuisance.1 A regime for controlling odour and fly nuisance is due to be introduced next year, and Scottish Water will have to apply for capital to improve 35 treatment works.
