Thames ponders sewage reuse after reservoir scrapped

The environment department (DEFRA) has told Thames Water to rewrite its plans to meet the demand needs of its customers over the next 25 years. It could lead to Thames developing the UK’s largest effluent reuse scheme to provide drinking water.
