UK easily meets recycling targets for packaging

The UK exceeded its packaging recycling and recovery targets in 2010. And in spite of last minute issues, this year’s targets are not expected to cause any problems

Towards the end of 2010 there were fears the target for glass might not be met due to the suspension of one operator, Nationwide Glass, and December’s poor weather. However, carry-over from 2009 was enough to meet the annual target.
