A series of waste offences have cost property developer GP Properties Ltd £22,750.

The Stourbridge-based firm pleaded guilty at Telford magistrates court on 14 March to storing and allowing waste to be held on unlicensed land, contrary to sections 33(1)(b) and (6) of the Environmental Protection Act 1990.

On 28 February, it had pleaded guilty to two further breaches of the 1990 act: storing waste on unlicensed land contrary to sections 33(1)(a) and (6); and transferring waste to an unauthorised person contrary to section 34(1)(c)(i).
