Details about dangerous chemicals producers should be publicly available say two environmental NGOs.

Legal group ClientEarth and Swedish NGO ChemSec want the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) to release data in registration dossiers it has received under the EU REACH chemicals regime.

The groups are suing ECHA in the General Court of the EU because it has refused to disclose the names and locations of manufacturing sites for 356 dangerous chemicals, as well as quantities put on the market.
