DWI survey finds potent carcinogen in tap water
Drinking water in England and Wales has been contaminated by a carcinogen found in a water treatment chemical, the Drinking Water Inspectorate has revealed. The finding is embarrassing for the regulator, which is ultimately responsible for the approval of substances used in treatment processes.
