‘Water neutrality’ plans for Thames Gateway move ahead

The Environment Agency and the communities department (DCLG) are moving ahead with the concept of ‘water neutrality’, where the water needed by new developments is offset by retrofitting existing homes with water-efficient features. But the issue has yet to inspire mainstream debate.
