Shoppers concerned more about animal welfare than climate

Only 4% of supermarket customers are most concerned about climate change, according to a poll by the Co-operative Group that looked at environmental and social issues. People’s greatest concern was animal welfare, named by a quarter of customers, followed by ethical trade at 14%.
