The business of biodiversity

When the ENDS Report was founded exactly 30 years and 400 issues ago, the invention of ‘biodiversity’ lay a decade in the future. At the 1992 Rio Earth Summit, a UN Convention on Biological Diversity was launched alongside the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. Since then we’ve heard far more about the UNFCCC than the UNCBD.
