Government restates veto to biofuel hiatus

Agreeing to a moratorium on biofuels would "mean reneging on earlier commitments" that firms have based investment decisions on, the government said in May in response to a report by the House of Commons Environmental Audit Committee (ENDS Report 397, pp 55-57 ).
