Dust reveals a major exposure route for flame retardants
Dust samples collected from UK primary school and nursery classrooms contain high levels of the brominated flame retardant hexabromocyclododecane (HBCD), as well as smaller amounts of tetrabromobisphenol A (TBBPA) and perfluorinated alkyl substances PFOS/PFOA.
