Electric utilities drag feet on climate risk disclosure

Scottish Power costs the UK economy £156 million annually if carbon impacts are taken into account, says Trucost. It found electricity companies globally were poor at disclosing climate risks in a study of the sector’s response to the Carbon Disclosure Project’s 2006 survey.
