South West fined over diesel-laced tap water

Careless chemicals handling led to 2,500 households being supplied with drinking water containing diesel oil, Honiton magistrates heard on 20 June. South West Water was ordered to pay over £30,000 in fines and costs after receiving almost 2,400 complaints.
