Plan allows some hazwaste exports

Hazardous waste can be exported for disposal if building domestic specialised disposal facilities for it would be “uneconomic”, the UK waste shipments plan says.1 The statutory plan came into force on 9 August, but was not issued by the Environment Department (DEFRA) until the end of the month.
