Health impact assessment hampered by lack of guidelines

Health impact assessments have been "of little use in the planning process so far," according to the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management. It blames the lack of relevant guidance and a "fundamental difference in approach" among practitioners in this emerging field.
