Resource efficiency agenda slows to a snail's pace

The EU thematic strategies on natural resource use and waste should build a better understanding of resource use impacts, but they are open to criticism for lack of ambition. More popular will be the much-needed proposals published with the waste strategy to overhaul the definition of waste. Geraint Roberts reports
