Calls for inclusion of broader population impacts in EIA

The Department of Health is lobbying for revisions to the environmental impact assessment regime to widen the scope of environmental impacts on the population. The current approach "undermines the credibility of EIA", according to a report submitted to the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister.
