Another Flame retardant found in the environment

US researchers have found a new environmental contaminant in air, fish and sediment in the Great Lakes.1 The compound turned up during monitoring of air particles and was identified as Dechlorane Plus (DP), a chlorinated polycyclic aliphatic flame retardant manufactured by Occidental Chemical.
