Governments agree on voluntary chemicals strategy
More than 140 governments reached agreement on a voluntary strategy to reduce the risks associated with chemicals at a meeting of the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) in Dubai in February. The agreement was criticised by WWF for doing too little to address issues such as the precautionary principle and the substitution of hazardous substances.
