MBT market slows - but interest in outputs soars
Around 15 local authorities could be using mechanical-biological treatment (MBT) for residual waste by 2010, according to an ENDS survey. The country's largest plant has been commissioned in east London - but the owner Shanks has yet to find an outlet for the fuel it will produce.
