2006 renewables obligation Orders come into force

The Renewables Obligation Order 2006 for England and Wales, and parallel Orders for Northern Ireland and Scotland, came into force on 1 April.1 Draft versions were released for consultation in February after a review in the autumn of energy sources eligible for the scheme (ENDS Report 373, p 34 ).
