Sewage overflow costs Wessex £8,500

Wessex Water was fined £7,000 and £1,596 in costs after sewage overflowed from a pumping station at Hamworthy, Dorset, into Holes Bay. The bay is part of Poole Harbour - a site of special scientific interest and a protected area for wading birds and waterfowl.
