Drunken sailor jailed for Shetland oil spill
The captain of a Shetland tug that ran aground and released more than 200 tonnes of oil has become the first person jailed by a Scottish court for a pollution offence. Ironically, the vessel was stationed in the Shetlands to prevent oil spills by providing emergency towing facilities.
