Environment Agency and contractor fined for river pollution
The Environment Agency has been fined £7,500 with costs of £1,466 after one of its contractors polluted a Somerset river while installing a flow monitoring station. The contractor, construction company May Gurney, was fined £27,500 with costs of £1,466.
