Agency and landfill industry agree way forward for permits

The Environment Agency is reissuing landfill permits after agreeing with operators on a more lenient interpretation of the landfill Directive. But Waste Recycling Group is seeking a judicial review of the Agency's decision to refuse permits to landfills that "piggyback" old ones.
