DNA technology to help fight illegal timber trade
A DNA-based method to identify protected tree species and help fight the illegal timber trade is to be developed by the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew and a private firm Wildlife DNA Services Ltd, a spin-off from a PhD research project at Bangor University in Wales.
