Dramatic' rise in NO<sub>2</sub> threatens urban air quality

Roadside emissions of nitrogen dioxide (NO2) are increasing because of the greater use of particulate abatement on diesel vehicles, according to a draft report from the government's Air Quality Expert Group (AQEG).
