Thames Water clocks up £68,000 in pollution fines
Thames Water has been ordered to pay a £50,000 fine and £2,854 in costs after it allowed thousands of gallons of raw sewage to flood a brook in Leyton, east London. It has also been fined £18,000 for polluting the river Cherwell in Oxfordshire.
